2026 Immunoengineering Center (IE) Singh Family Research Awards
Now accepting applications for two new awards, funded by the Singh family in honor of J.P. Singh’s legacy. Learn more about the gift. Application deadline for both - December 5, 2025.
- The “Singh Family Faculty Research Award” supports interdisciplinary projects at earlier stages of development in the “high risk, high yield” category or projects with exceptionally innovative or novel technology and/or a high potential for clinical or industry translation. Two, $15,000 awards will be given.
- The “Singh Family Fellow Award" supports an outstanding graduate student at Georgia Tech working on an interdisciplinary project in personalized and predictive immunoengineering, with a particular focus on cancer and intersecting immune-related diseases, including but not limited to autoimmune disorders, infectious diseases, and transplant rejection. Student must be nominated by their PI or Advisor. Two, $10,000 awards will be given.

IBB Team Seed Grant for Equipment Core Facilities Program
Created to give investigators an opportunity to try pieces of select IBB core facility equipment. Only one IBB investigator is needed per application. IBB investigators from Georgia Tech and Emory (who are adjunct faculty members at Georgia Tech) are eligible. Apply by December 31, 2025.
IBB Team Seed Grant Program
Created to bring IBB teams together to plan and submit large grant proposals. All collaborators must be IBB faculty members who hold regular appointments at Georgia Tech. This competition is a rolling submission and the committee will select up to four (4) awards for FY25 at $5,000 per award. Apply by December 31, 2026.

Ono Pharma Breakthrough Science Initiative Awards Program
IBB is accepting internal applications in the area of Chemical Biology. If you are interested in applying, submit a brief overview covering how your application would meet the evaluation criteria (1 page, NIH margins) and your CV for the internal review process using InfoReady by January 4, 2026.

Georgia CTSA TL1 (T32-like) Program Clinical & Translational Research Training
The Georgia CTSA TL1 Program, supported by the NIH Clinical and Translational Science Award, offers innovative didactic and mentored training in clinical and translational research (CTR) for predoctoral and postdoctoral trainees—including medical, PharmD, and PhD students, residents, fellows, and postdocs—interested in careers in CTR and clinical and translational science (CTS). Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents from one of the four Georgia CTSA institutions: Emory University, Georgia Tech, Morehouse School of Medicine, or University of Georgia.
