Graduate Apprenticeship Program
The IMS Graduate Apprenticeship Program offers graduate students a unique opportunity to advance their research and technical expertise through immersive, hands-on apprenticeships within IMS's state-of-the-art nanotechnology and characterization core facilities of the Institute for Matter and Systems.
Designed as an alternative to traditional teaching assistantships, the IMS Graduate Student Apprenticeship provides structured, paid research apprenticeships that allow graduate students to work alongside expert staff and faculty, gaining practical skills in advanced instrumentation, materials characterization, and micro/nanoscale fabrication.
