Abstract: Textron GSE is one of the world’s largest suppliers of ground support equipment. There is an emphasis on electrification across the aviation industry and Textron plans to be at the forefront. Textron GSE plans to achieve excellence in electrification while still manufacturing in an agile and customization heavy industry.

Additionally, Keo Cody will present some open positions at Textron and discuss position duties as well as requirements/qualifications for both internship and full-time employment with the company.

Bio: Kyle Shimberg is the Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Textron GSE. After graduating from the University of Florida with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Kyle joined Textron’s Leadership Development Program. During his time in the Leadership Development Program he experienced a broad spectrum of manufacturing processes and techniques across several Textron business units. After completing the Leadership Development Program Kyle moved into a permanent role as a Manufacturing Engineer with Textron GSE where he was able to implement many of the lessons he had learned. In the spring of this year Kyle moved into the of Manufacturing Engineering Manager where he now oversees a group of engineers that support all aspects of manufacturing at Textron GSE.

Bio: My name is Keo Cody and I have been a Talent Field Specialist for TSV since March 2022. I currently recruit for Textron GSE in Cartersville, GA and E-Z-GO in Augusta, GA.
* I currently recruit for Engineering, Shop Floor, and Warehouse roles.
* I graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Public Administration and completed a Master’s degree in Public Administration.
* A fun fact about me is that I am from a small town called North Augusta, SC (which is on the SC/GA border). After living in Columbia, SC, I ventured back to Augusta, GA where you can find me rooting for the Bulldogs and not the Gamecocks! 
* I’m excited about opportunities such as this Lunch and Learn, with the hopes to meet new people, while setting a foundation for students, graduates, alumni to become a part of the TSV family.
