The Georgia Tech Manufacturing Institute (GTMI) partners with industry, government and other leading academic institutions across a wide swatch of industries, from aerospace to biomanufacturing, and nearly every industry in between – to embark on and move translational research from the lab into industry, to tackle challenging manufacturing problems, and to prepare the workforces of today and tomorrow for the rapidly evolving manufacturing environments in which they will find themselves.

Georgia Tech Contract Continuum:

At Georgia Tech, investing in research is a top priority. As part of that commitment, the Institute has developed contract mechanisms that enable industry to engage with Tech researchers at all stages of R&D. These agreements have been carefully crafted to streamline the contracting process and provide straightforward intellectual property terms for companies engaging in collaborative research.
