IPaT Thursday Think Tank October 7th

Description: The Atlanta region is at the heart of an emerging “megaregion” in the Southeastern US. What does this mean for resiliency and sustainability for things like critical infrastructure, food, water, and energy distribution, and transportation of people, goods and medical resources? What can we learn from other “megaregions” around the world? More fundamentally, what is a "megaregion" how does one map its boundaries, and what is the appropriate methodology for exploring its sustainability?  Join us for a multi-disciplinary discussion of research challenges and opportunities for collaboration.
