IPaT Thursday Think Tank: How do we Make IoT Usable?
Thursday, October 13 - How do we Make IoT Usable?
When data specialist Mark Rittman set out to make a cup of tea recently, he never anticipated that it would take 11 hours! Rittman was using his new Wi-Fi enabled tea kettle, which was supposed to connect to another device in his home and then turn on via voice control. As more and more everyday objects have network connectivity, how do we make IoT usable? Join us tomorrow at 4pm to discuss.
The Thursday Think Tank is a weekly gathering of the IPaT community to brainstorm about research and stay informed about the work that everyone is doing. This is an informal gathering where the moderator kicks off the weekly topic, but everyone is encouraged to join the discussion.
