Georgia Tech's President’s Council Governing Board recently awarded the Georgia Tech student chapter of TAPPI the award for "Most Improved Organization."

The award is presented to the organization that has shown great improvements over the course of the academic school year. This includes high membership growth and low membership loss; high functioning executive board with achievable goals; existing programs and/or events that showed great improvement; and establishing new programs that will help the organization fulfill its needs.

Shown at the awards ceremony are Professor Chris Luettgen, who also serves as Associate Director at the Renewable Bioproducts Institute, a supporter of GT TAPPI; and Thomas Kwok and Chinmay Satam, both officers within the chapter.
