Gloria Griessman directs integrated industry partnerships and key strategic initiatives that span Georgia Tech in the area of research, education and innovation. She manages large Institute-wide interdisciplinary initiatives, and serves as an architect for entrepreneurial and commercialization strategies. Ms. Griessman applies over 20 years of experience in strategic marketing, business development and commercialization to help propel industry engagement and innovation at Georgia Tech.

 

Ms. Griessman leads industry partnerships and innovative programs with the Institute for Information Security and Privacy. She facilitates industry engagement with key organizations in cybersecurity and works in partnership with industry associations, and manages cross-disciplinary efforts with other divisions of Georgia Tech. She develops strategic relationships and research programs with leading organizations in cybersecurity and privacy. Ms. Griessman has previously driven transformational growth for technology companies, including Vitrue (acquired by Oracle for $300M), ChoicePoint (acquired by Reed Elsevier for x) and WebMD where she led the marketing efforts during the company’s growth from $30M start up to a $6B global leader. Ms. Griessman joined the Office of Research in 2014, after serving in a Senior Consulting role at GTRI in 2013. Ms Griessman received her B.S. in industrial management from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
