We would like to take this opportunity to announce that BBISS is starting a graduate student sustainability affinity group. Everyone is welcome, but we would especially like to invite all grad students with an interest in sustainability to come to this month's Sustainability Network Meeting. If you advise grad students you think might benefit from such a group, please consider attending this event, but also make your students aware that they can sign up for the BBISS Newsletter to learn about all the forthcoming graduate student sustainability affinity group announcements.

This month's meeting is all about Sustainability Research. Brought to you by the Brook Byers Institute for Sustainable Systems, you will hear from our Interim Director and several researchers focused on Direct Air Carbon Capture, Community-Engaged Research, and Critical Energy Mineral Solutions. Following the talks, we will have a guided networking activity about sustainability research.

Light refreshments will be served.
