Abstract: Learning to LEED explores the economics of information in the context of innovative energy technology adoption. By leveraging the marketing benefits of early adoption, early adopters help build supply chains and economies of scale and reduce uncertainty and risk associated with new technologies. Efforts like demonstration projects, government procurement, and ecocertification help speed sustainability transitions.
