Abstract: We will discuss a recent study that revealed executive leaders’ perspectives on AI in manufacturing. We will also discuss how leaders may design, implement, and refine capabilities that make their organization’s offerings more valuable, relationships more effective, and operations more sustainable.

Courtney Walker

Courtney L. Walker is a Vice President & Commercial Banking Relationship Manager in PNC’s Corporate & Institutional Bank with over 17 years of experience in the financial industry. With an MBA, concentration Marketing & Finance from Florida A&M University and an International Project Management Certification (PMP), she cultivates financial solutions for her clients while also providing consultative guidance in process improvement and other operational efficiencies- understanding that synergies amongst processes typically creates exponential ROI.

With her varied industry expertise including pharmaceutical, energy, communications, & marketing, she leverages key insights to provide a wholistic approach of solutions within the framework of maximizing timeliness, quality, & scope of services.  As a PNC  certified Women Business Advocate & Co-Chair of Women in Business for GA, Courtney prioritizes sharing insights and resources to women-owned business across her foot-print to encourage the availability of resources for all business types.  

Prior to PNC, Courtney began her financial career in Atlanta as a Business Banker at SunTrust Bank. Beyond banking, Courtney has held positions in internal communications, national sales, & audit. She currently serves on the boards of Women in Manufacturing Georgia, Nic’s Kicks- a nonprofit providing mentorship and new shoes to underrepresented youth, as well as being a founding board member of SBI Alumni Association Inc, She is also a proud Girl Scout Troop Leader! Her greatest passions outside of her career are being the fun mom to two beautiful girls, a loving wife, and absolutely devoted to experiencing new foods and places as often as possible!

Tina Woodard

Tina Woodard is the founder of Capstone Performance Solutions, Inc., established in 2016 with a profound vision to inspire leaders and organizations toward achieving excellence. With a diverse background as a seasoned engineer and HR executive boasting over two decades of experience across the manufacturing, government, and education sectors, Woodard is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to clients seeking to enhance profitability, foster a robust organizational culture, and cultivate transformative leadership.

Before assuming full-time leadership at Capstone, Woodard notably served as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Organizational Development at the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia (USG). During her eight-year tenure in this pivotal role, she spearheaded the design, development, and execution of numerous executive leadership and professional development initiatives benefiting over 40,000 employees. Her exceptional contributions were acknowledged by the Association for Talent Development (ATD), where she was honored as a Champion of Learning. Woodard's visionary efforts were instrumental in expanding the talent pipeline for executive-level leadership roles within the USG from zero to 300 executives over a six-year period.

As a Visiting Professor at Clemson University, Woodard imparts her expertise by teaching graduate courses in Human Resource Development. She is also the co-founder of the esteemed nonprofit organization I Am B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L., Inc., dedicated to providing leadership development opportunities for girls and women. Woodard further augmented her professional credentials by earning a certificate in Executive and Organizational Coaching from Columbia University. She holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute, as well as a certificate in Local Government & Executive Management from the University of Georgia.

Woodard's academic achievements include a Doctorate in Adult Education from the University of Georgia, where she was inducted into the prestigious Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Her doctoral research focused on advancing leaders through strategic talent management practices. Additionally, she holds a Master of Human Resource Development and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University.
