Georgia Tech will kickoff off the 13th annual Atlanta Science Festival by welcoming the community to our campus to Celebrate STEAM! Attendees can participate in hands-on STEAM activities, watch STEAM demonstrations, connect with student researchers, and discover the exciting advancements happening at Georgia Tech. This free event has something for everyone - robotics, brains, biology, space, art, nanotechnology, paper, computer science, bioengineering, chemical engineering, or systems engineering.

Show off your work and hype up the next wave of scientists. All Georgia Tech student groups, labs, staff, and faculty members are invited to showcase their science or engineering demos on Saturday, March 7. Contact events@gatech.edu with questions.

Is there a cost to attend?

Attendance is FREE for everyone. Registration coming soon!

Where to park?

Where to start?

We recommend beginning your journey at "Mission Control" on the corner of State Street and Ferst Drive. Look for the large outdoor registration tent where you can pick up a free, interactive passport to explore the exhibits.

Who should attend?

Science is for everyone! Celebrate STEAM is family friendly and serves all ages.

What will we see?

You will see a wide array of real science and engineering demonstrations. We encourage our explorers to use caution when approaching demos that use chemicals, fire, or other hazardous materials.

What happens if it rains?

The event will take place rain or shine and most of the activities are located indoors.

Is the event ADA accessible?

Yes! Georgia Tech's campus has ramps and elevators to assist many types of travel. ADA parking is available in all visitor parking lots and decks.

Are pets allowed?

Only service animals are permitted.
