Shreyas Kousik is an assistant professor in the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering. He received his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech in 2014 and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan in 2020. He completed a postdoc at Stanford University from 2020 - 2022. Dr. Kousik’s research is focused on bridging the gap between theory and practice for safe deployment of autonomous robots. To achieve this, he and his team design and deploy techniques across formal methods, machine learning, and robot perception, planning, and control.
