We are looking for a bio-scientist, bio-engineer, or related early career professional to join our multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
This position will support several projects in a team environment and will require laboratory work focused on cell culture and characterization assays e.g. flow and mass cytometry, ELISA, Luminex, RNA sequencing, and functional assays such as cell co-cultures. This position will contribute to data acquisition and analysis, scientific writing, preparing and presenting data in the form of reports and presentations, and working within a GMP-like/GLP-compliant laboratory facility. Organization, documentation, and self-motivation are key attributes for success.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, biological science-related field, or other engineering field with experience in life sciences, or related field.
- At least 1 year of lab experience with cell culture.
- Strong experience in basic benchtop, wet-lab research techniques.
- Exemplary communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently to problem solve.
- Experience in regulated fields a plus (knowledge of quality management systems and procedures).
- Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced cross-functional environment.
The ideal individual has experience with cell culture, cell-based functional performance assays, and other cell characterization methods (e.g. flow or mass cytometry, ELISA, Luminex) and is looking for a lab-based position.
Experience with any of the following is a plus but not a requirement: T cell or mesenchymal stem cell research, automation, bioreactors, cell therapy, RNA/DNA, working in GMP/GLP-compliant settings, working in a project team environment.
