David

David Peeler is a research scientist and a recent graduate from Georgia Tech having completed a bachelor's degree in computer science in May 2022. His research interests lie in machine learning, mobile (Android) development, and STEM education. Currently, he is supporting the TechSAge D2 fall detection project detecting and reporting user falls from wheelchairs. He is also supporting STEM @ GTRI's rural education project giving 1000+ hours of direct instruction and curriculum development of different topics of computer science to high schoolers.

Celeste Mason

Celeste Mason

Celeste Mason is a research scientist II at the Institute for People and Technology (IPaT). After completing her Masters of Human-Computer Interaction at Georgia Tech (and previously, a Bachelor’s in Materials Science and Engineering), she worked as a researcher/developer at a wearable computing startup and universities in Northern Germany.

Jill Gambill

Jill Gambill

Jill Gambill is the Executive Director and Senior Research Associate for the Coastal Equity and Resilience Hub in the Institute of People and Technology (IPaT) at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Gambill previously spent over 12 years at the University of Georgia, where she most recently served as Coastal Resilience Specialist and Public Service Associate for Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant. In this role, she worked with vulnerable coastal communities to equitably plan for and respond to flooding from storm surge and sea level rise.

David White

David White

David White leads the Office of Academic Administration, which provides academic advising for the BS and MS degrees in Computer Science. Mr. White coordinates the schedule of classes with the College's three Schools and the Division of Computing Instruction, and works with the College's Technology Services Organization to provide student information systems. He also frequently represents the College on academic initiatives, including the Institute's steering committee for Complete College Georgia.

Valerie Sitterle

Valerie Sitterle

Dr. Sitterle is a Principal Research Engineer at the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI), where her technical work synthesizes systems science, complex systems, and defense analysis. She is an expert with over 20 years of experience in engineering science, integrating engineering, natural, and physical sciences leading to the design and analysis of systems.

Andrea Grimes Parker

Andrea Grimes Parker

Andrea Grimes Parker is an Associate Professor in the School of Interactive Computing at Georgia Tech. She is also an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and at Morehouse School of Medicine. Dr. Parker holds a Ph.D. in Human-Centered Computing from Georgia Tech and a B.S. in Computer Science from Northeastern University. She is the founder and director of the Wellness Technology Lab at Georgia Tech.

Lisa Marks

Lisa Marks

Lisa Marks is a designer and educator teaching studio courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs at Georgia Tech. Her current research focuses on methods of combining endangered and traditional handcraft with algorithmic modeling in order to produce new modes of production. She has a Master of Industrial Design from Parsons School of Design and worked in New York for clients including Google, Nike, and Swarovski.

Yanni Loukissas

Yanni Loukissas

Yanni Loukissas is an Associate Professor of Digital Media in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication at Georgia Tech. His research is focused on helping creative professionals think critically about the social implications of emerging technologies.
