Jay Bolter

Jay David Bolter is the Wesley Chair of New Media at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is the author of Turing's Man: Western Culture in the Computer Age (1984); Writing Space: The Computer, Hypertext, and the History of Writing (1991; second edition 2001); Remediation (1999), with Richard Grusin; and Windows and Mirrors (2003), with Diane Gromala. In addition to writing about new media, Bolter collaborates in the construction of new digital media forms. With Michael Joyce, he created Storyspace, a hypertext authoring system.

Alex Endert

Alex Endert is an Associate Professor in the School of Interactive Computing at Georgia Tech. He directs the Visual Analytics Lab, where he works with his students to design and study how interactive visual tools help people make sense of data and AI. His lab often tests these advances in domains, including intelligence analysis, cyber security, decision-making, manufacturing safety, and others. His lab receives generous support from sponsors, including NSF, DOD, DHS, DARPA, DOE, and industry.

Agata Rozga

Agata Rozga is a psychologist with expertise and 13 years of experience forging a new interdisciplinary research area at the intersection of computing and psychology called computational behavioral science. The research vision is to transform the measurement, analysis, and understanding of health-related behaviors by leveraging advances in sensing, wearable and mobile technologies, and computational analysis methods. The ultimate goal is to develop tools that can lead to better detection, monitoring, and treatment of a variety of chronic health conditions.
