Georgia Tech professor Valerie Thomas suggests that the U.S. EPA's proposal to increase biofuel blending mandates through 2025 would lead to a near-term increase in greenhouse gas emissions, before yielding reductions in the longer-term, according to agency documents.

The new Drawdown Georgia GHG Emissions Tracker is a free, first-of-its-kind, interactive tool that shows where greenhouse gas emissions come from in Georgia at the state and county level. The Tracker was developed by Dr. William Drummond of Georgia Tech, along with colleagues at both Georgia Tech and University of Georgia.
