(Posted 2/9/2023) This role manages the research communications program managers for Georgia Tech's 10 Interdisciplinary Research Institutes (IRIs) and works closely with the IRIs, the many research centers that fall within each IRI, and a few other entities (like national labs, innovation hubs, etc.) that also fall within the interdisciplinary research umbrella. 

Job Summary

Leads research communications program managers in providing technical communications services to research units, ensuring that priorities and projects across units align with those at the institute level and are consistent with Georgia Institute of Technology's best practices and strategic priorities. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance and providing feedback, and making pay recommendations.This position will interact on a consistent basis with: directors, management, faculty, staff, and stakeholders. This position typically will advise and counsel: directors, management, faculty, staff, and stakeholders. This position will supervise: research communications program managers.
